New car with a speed of 160KM
The new car, which can reach 160 kilometers (100 miles) per hour on one battery, will go on sale this year.
Automobile manufacturers were given a tour of the future by displaying its latest products at the Hall of Electronics (CES, for its acronym in English) in Las Vegas, which closed its doors on Sunday.
At this fair, held each year, traditionally on display mobile phones, computers and television screens. However, this time the vehicle manufacturers caught much public attention with the latest developments in automotive technology, a prelude of what would soon be found at dealerships.
The U.S. automaker Ford chose the shows in Las Vegas, versus the Detroit Motor Show to be held next week to present its first electronic vehicle, the Focus Electric.
The new car, which can reach 160 kilometers (100 miles) per hour on one battery, will go on sale this year.
On the other hand, Audi drew a crowd at their booth to show your display front (“head-up display” in English), similar to a video game, which projects information such as a racing car and offers itineraries on the front windshield.
“I indicated the direction, speed limit and your own speed, so you should not look to the dashboard,” says Jessica Silvia, a representative for the German car company.
Audi also has automatic cars but these were not displayed at the CES. What was presented was a prototype vehicle developed by General Motors, the EN-V or Electrical Motor two-wheeler, you can park and be located only a “smart phone.”
The EN-V, whose exhibition was attended by a large number of visitors, is egg-shaped and a capacity for two people. This was his first appearance in the U.S. after being presented at the 2010 Shanghai Expo.
Ford also showed the My Ford Touch, the version of the Ford Focus to be launched in 2012. This has a touch screen navigation and entertainment board located on the control console to recognize the orders of 10,000 voices.
